The Complete Guide To Basic Mat Cutting

We very highly recommend this mat cutting book to all that wish to cut their own mats. This is a great book for any cutter, but this book shows how to cut mats using Logan mat cutters including the Logan oval mat cutters.

This is one of the most extremely nice matting books there is for the home picture framer. It is very well organized, illustrated, put together and I have read most of the books out there. For the home picture framer, and especially the first time mat cutter this book just can't be beat!

There are chapters on, The Purpose of Matting, Size and Proportion, Mat Styles, Matboards, Standard Sizes, Designing Mats, Measuring for Mats, Trimming to a Size, Mat Cutting single and double mats, Cutting fancy mats, Inlay's and Shadow Boxes,Oval and Circle Mats, and so much more.

Not a large book, only 62 pages you will be amazed by the amount of "Good" content in this book. It is SO well laid out and illustrated that anyone can follow the information given here and learn to cut their own mats. Wrote by Vivian C. Kistler, she has really out done herself on this book. It is so well put together if you cannot learn mat cutting using this book I feel you should give up. I make that statement because learning matting using this book can not be told any easier. To that extent, you purchase this book from us, look it over and if you don't like it you can return if for a full refund on the price of the book as long as you leave it in like new condition and do so with in 30 days of making the order.
