The cutter shown above is alto's 4505 cutting system and is in use by lots of professional picture framers as well as home picture framers. This complete and ready to use mat cutter has a unique patented measuring system. It sets border widths every 1/8 inch from 1 5/8 inches to 8 3/8 inches. It features brass plated metal parts and a 36 inch anodized aluminum parallel straightedge. Unlike most other mat cutters, this mat cutter is open ended making for unlimited mat cutting lengths. The mat cutter cuts at a true 45 degree angle which produces a wonderful cut edge on your picture mats. Absolutely fantastic for photography! This oval mat cutter kit makes cutting oval mats easy for everyone to do. It cuts 20 different sizes of ovals from 3 x 4 /12 up to 10 7/8 x 13 3/8 inches. With it you can also make accent lines, inlaid mats, multiple mats and openings. Comes with mat cutter, mat cutting templates, five mat cutting blades and complete mat cutting instructions. Easy to use.
