The museum is open when ever the shop and gallery is open, and admission is always free! We extend an open invitation for you to stop in and visit us any time that you happen to be in our area! Our hours are usually 8 am to 5 pm. Monday thru Friday.

We have wonderful displays of animals that look so natural that you wouldn’t believe they aren’t alive. By our front door a huge black bear, standing on his hind legs will astound you with his imposing presence. You’ll be glad that you’ve met him in our shop and not while on a walk in the woods! In the museum proper, you’ll be able to see a variety of cats, a majestic lion, looking over his kingdom, a leopard sitting on a tree branch, his gaze, direct and piercing, and bobcats on the prowl. You’ll be charmed by the antics of our baby raccoons, and the playful otters!You’ll cry at the plight of the bear cub and ducks that got tangled in mans carelessly thrown garbage. You’ll be astonished at the marvelous, unbelievable horns that our African Kudos, and Sable process.

You’ll see a variety of deer, elk, caribou, and large Moose heads. We have beautiful, white arctic foxes on the prowl and red foxes playing outside their dens. We have many sea ducks, as well as beautiful inland birds, such as pheasants and turkeys and charming displays of smaller animals.

We also have a nice display of old bottles salvaged form the ocean floor and other artifacts. Whether you happen to be one or one hundred, or anywhere in between, we are sure that you’ll be delighted with our wildlife displays and will want to return with your friends!

Grignon's Art & Frame is super easy to find.Take Interstate 95 north or south to the Newport exit. Exit # 39. The Burger King, Dunkin Donuts, Walmart, and almost everything else you see on the left side of the road is actually in Palmyra, Maine. Bear left off the exit and follow US Route 2 west to the Palmyra Walmart. Drive west past the entrance to Walmart and go another 7 and ½ miles on US Route 2, the only road, and you will see our sign on the right side of the road. We are located right on US Route 2. It is that simple.
