We can supply you with the finest pure picture framing glass available cut to the exact size you require. Picture framing glass is not the same as window glass. Picture framing glass is much more pure. Window glass is "wavy" and blurs your art works. See our learning center for more about glass. We offer glass here because it is so hard for people to get picture framing glass locally for their framing projects. We do not sell plexi glass or acrylics because most people who have used this stuff are very disappointed after a short time. These plastics contain a static electric charge which attracts dust like a magnet. Usually within a year you end up with a badly scratched picture. The stuff bends and wraps within the frame. For example, the 13 inch by 15 inch frame above contains 28 united inches. Looking at the table below you will see that this piece of glass costs $4.35. By now you have learned how to figure out united inches. Long side plus short side rounded up equals the united inches in a frame. Example: 12 1/8 inches by 14 1/4 inches equals 28 united inches. 13 + 15 = 28 UI. Make sure you figure glass sizes correctly as our computer will automatically correct prices on your billing without notice to you. Glass is sold by the united inch.
