The
pictures are of a of a brand new store that is selling art. This store
"Majesty Hardwood Flooring" sells art and hardwood floors. Because
they had a lot of empty wall space they decided to carry our art. They
have their walls decorated with lots of really beautiful pieces of our
framed art. Not
many stores have this kind of wall space. Nor is it needed. Look around
at your own place of business and see if there are not a few good spots
to put a few nice pieces of art to sell.. There are many other types of
stores that carry our art; furniture stores, restaurants, even banks.
I even know of an auto repair shop that carries our art in their lobby.
A couple pieces a month and there's their light bill paid. There
are many great places to start selling art. With the proper lighting,
you are sure to sell some art. You would not believe the difference having
a 50 watt flood track light does to a piece of art until you try it yourself.
You also must have the price of the art plainly visible. The average person
will look at your art but will not ask you how much it costs. Many times
lookers will go away, think about it a few days and then come back to
purchase the art. This almost never happens unless they know the cost
of the art and that you are selling art. It is very important to put a
price on your products.
