Artists Mediums from Martin Weber |
The Martin Weber Mediums we sell are designed to work with artists paints. Always use the best mediums available in your art work. Poor quality mediums will eventually cause your paint to flake off your painting surfaces, or cause your paints to fade and discolor. For example, artist quality turpentine is not the same turpentine found in hardware stores. The mediums we sell are much more refined and are made for artists paints. These Martin Weber Mediums are the best quality. We very highly recommend these artist mediums. |

Martin Weber Blue Label Artist Fixatif is a clear art fixative, prepared expressly for use on pastel and charcoal and pencil drawings. It offers maximum durability and protection with the least change in tonal value. It dries to a matte finish which can be reworked. This art fixative should be used in an atomizer to spray on. Martin Weber Artists Salamander is prepared from selected oils and balsams and is a restorative for oil paintings to recover their brilliance. After a painting has been cleaned and artists Salamander has been applied and allowed to rejuvenate the color, an application of Damar of Synvar Varnish is recommended to protect the surface. Martin Weber Artists Japan Drier is used to accelerate the drying time of oil colors. Art Japan Dryer should be used quite sparingly since overuse will tend to cause darkening and cracking of the painting. Martin Weber Artists LiquiGlaze is an excellent medium for fine detail, impasto or glaze effects. The consistency of Art LiquiGlaze is a soft translucent gel, which is ideal for mixing with heavy bodied oil colors. It dries quickly, is resistant to yellowing and provides a long lasting quality paint film. It can be thinned with turpentine or Tupenoid. This product is a must have in many artists studios. |
