101 are for general painting and washes. They produce thin to thick lines
and you can create the finest of detail with these brushes. Series 101 Brushes
have the shorter handles, from seven to nine inches long. For the longer
handle version see series 404 below.

Sceptre Gold Series 202 Designers Round brushes have the shorter 7 inch
handles. These brushes are designed for precise brush work, as in line work
and illustration. They give very fine detail. |

Sceptre Gold Series 303 Lettering brushes have short handles and are made
for fine detail work. They create thin lines and fine scroll work as in
cursive lettering. The longer head carries more color. |
